| Every month, friends and families of Thea Bowman Prep have a chance to support our Home and School Association’s programs without spending a single extra dollar! The Merchant Card Mall offers full-dollar-value gift cards (scrip) from hundreds of retailers, restaurants, grocery stores, and gas stations. The HSA buys them at a discount, resells them at face value and the difference is profit for the school. Thea Bowman Prep families are encouraged to use the merchant cards for basic purchases each month. Instead of buying groceries with cash or a credit card, consider ordering a merchant card for Giant or Safeway instead. Gas up the car with merchant cards from BP, Exxon/Mobile, or Shell. Consider starting your morning with a Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts merchant card instead of cash. Remember by making regular purchases with merchant cards instead of cash, we raise money for Home and School Association programs. HOW TO PURCHASE: TWO SIMPLE WAYS- Complete the monthly order from and write a check payable to “Thea Bowman Preparatory Academy.” Your cards can be picked up in the school office or sent home in the Thursday folder the following week. - Stop by the school office after school. We keep some of the most popular cards in stock and can be purchased without ordering.
