| Students at Thea Bowman Prep attend classes 193 days each year. This provides more time for our students to learn new concepts and skills and aids in the retention of knowledge and content. It also provides time for our teachers to communicate with parents on student progress and engage in on-going professional development activities. Our Summer Adventure program allows teachers and students the opportunity to learn through fun and hands-on activities. For families with children attending other public schools, we have made every attempt to design our calendar to align as closely as possible with the DCPS school calendar. 2008-2009 School Calendar
